SEO for images through DP?!!

I was thinking if I add the image link to my signature......will that help me in seo for images keywords..

keyword ####

It's sure a useful backlink but I think title and alt tag along with surrounding content would contribute much more in ranking.

 

All I am saying is that placing a link in my signature here in DP; which is gonna be of an image and the result would it help in increasing SEO for that image like getting a top position in SERPS for images...

dont count much on DP signatures as far as ranking is concerned. Also DP signature only allow limited BB code (no image support)
