    Good day guys,

I want to know your expert opinions on the best antivirus software in market today. The popular ones Kaspersky, Norton, McAfee, AVG, Avast are no doubt very powerful but there must be a most powerful. I need you guys to give me a vote. Your vote is so crucial in my purchase of the most powerful one. I am sure your vote would help other prospective buyers too.

    Thanks

NOD32 (ESET Smart Security), the best antivirus, firewall, spyware, adware protector I have used. I've used Norton and AVG, AVG deleted my windows.exe file once and Norton is too easy to break through.

Thanks for the reply Jenny. But can Kaspersky remove viruses from a seriously infected computer and restore it back to a healthy state? If not, then what software can do that?

For me it's good old Norton. However it does slow the system considerably. But this is where my core 2 duo comes in handy.

I've been using the AVG Free version for about 3 or 4 years now (personal PC not work) - and I've only once had a virus problem - and that was only because I ignored a warning.

Other than that it's been working like a bomb. I'm not so sure about its ability to remove viruses from an already infected machine ... but I believe prevention is better than cure in any case.
