    Hello,

    Situation:
    My Site Diwaligiftshop.com use to rank in the top 3 positions in SERPS for "Diwali gifts" keyword. Upto september 08 there was no problem; but now it is not even showing in the first page of google when I type domain name or "diwali gifts" keyword. So can any one help me know what's wrong with the website.

    Waiting for reply from online helpers.

    have u done in major change in title, desc or content where your keywords reflect. i suggest to over write your old page when its ranking and try to get decent back links

    well i got the same problem with my website www.jocurii.info , i think the big google penalized us , but i didnt did anything worng. Waiting for some pros to help us out here

    Mine has 2-3 weeks. And i had did some major changes on my SEO 1 week ago, maybe i should wait?

    nothing to worry about it.
    google does not gives the constant position for every site.
    it may varies weekly or monthly.
    better do continuosly link building for you site for not missing the search engine positions.it will help your site a lot.(bulid more backlinks)

    yes but im so low ranked , My keyword is Jocuri Masini , and im ranked on page 46 on google search. My homepage is not gettin visits at all but my other pages of my website are. (like 10-15 per day from search engine:| and those from search.yahoo.com) , thats why i say maybe i was penalized by google:(

    If you have not made any changes to the site and it has been three weeks since your traffic dropped, I would say there is a change in your backlinks.

    I build backlinks all the time 10-13 per day so i dont get spammed , I only changed my seo one week ago.:(

    HI,

    I haven't made any changes to title or meta tags, Nor I have added backlinks, before it was ranking in the first page, Know it is no where in the First 10 pages of the google, I have not used any black hat techniques, Except removing Anchor text border for the Links.

    Does any one think that could be the reason for penalty?

    Have you checked that your competitors are not carrying out a serious amount of SEO? This is one possibility......
