You can use paypal at escrow.com as long as it's under $5K.

The only time I don't use escrow.com is for transactions under $1200.00 unless I really know the person.. of which I can only think of 2 or 3 people.

How many months did you go back when you checked the income... if he faked it up with adwords hits, that costs and scammers will only pump them up for 1 or 2 months. You want a years worth of records to validate income like that. Also think why a guy would sell a site for $5000.00 if that is less than 4 months income?

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, and I know this wont help your present situation.... but perhaps for next time.
P/P offers a debit card (free) and instead of having to wait the 3-7 (not counting weekends and holidays) days to transfer to your bank account, you can withdraw (cost:$1.50 per use) the cash and deposit it into your bank.
EDIT: Oooops, just saw no bank account, nm

This is why I asked in my first post if it was tangible or virtual goods...

I hope your issue gets resolved emil2k, and that the culprit gets his just due.

Google "wenzeled" for some interesting reading and show of community spirit.

    Peace,

Well, so far we know that you keep up to 5k+ in your Paypal account, and you were then helpful enough to provide some secret information to a busy forum (now removed) - last thing you want to do is let out this type of confidential information. Next thing you know, someone will have figured out a way to get at your funds and then it's asta la vista, baby.

    Sorry to hear that Emil.

I have paypal transactions several times a day and get big part of my income via paypal. Apart from bad exchange rates, high fees and delay in validation process I must say that my experience with paypal is overall very good.

Great advice: When offering services, have the policy of half is paid up front, it will save you a lot of trouble.

Unfortunately, I think the going rate for a good hitman is about 4-5k.
(and they only take escrow:) )

Email, aren't you kinda young to be dealing with such large sums or money? Your reaction as well shows immaturity. Why not continue to go to school and do what young people do instead of wasting money and time on this?. You got taken to the cleaners, plain and simple and I hope you learned a lesson.

You cant even read the whole thread, pls stfu and put your reatarted, self oriented opinion up your ass.

@emil2k: This whole things sucks, but hopefully you've learned from the experience :)

Could you share with us at least where the site was purchased from, just so that we can be extra careful around there?

I wish you the best on getting your money back!
