Being on Google 1st page ? How much $ ?

Hi guys. How much should i have to pay a SEO team if they promised me to place my site on the first page of Google ?

He asks me for 150 $ but I think this is too low, so I'm afraid of scamming...

What do you think ?

 

Do it for free... build links, write quality content, and more importantly grind it out. Don't look for shortcuts

And can you tell something about niche?
If it is insurance.. than it's much higher.. if it is unblock myspace, than it's too high

What is the domain url and the keywords your are targeting? And Google UK or Google USA?

And anyone that will charge $100 to put you on page 1 of the serps, is doing a "PPC scam" or using a "local search" concept with a bs keyword phrase.

If your site is under 1 year old (Google sandbox), it will be very hard.
If your site doesn't have a large quantity links, it will be very hard.
If the links don't have SEOed anchor text, then they have no value.

As you can see, before you can get a quote, a lot of questions and answers are needed.

I give him 150 $ and after the next 2 months i will be on the first page for the search: "webmaster blog" and "webmaster tools". I said he can do this, but he needs me to post daily quality and original content on the blog.

The issue here is that you will have to create a great deal of content that is properly SEOed. And then it will not be enough. You are going up against some heavy players.

Keep in touch on this. If it works, it will be great to see how he did it. If not, the Forum can give you some good advise on how to harvest the work and build something good for you.

 

Yes, I'm afraid that the guy will use spamming methods to do this, and I will get banned by Google. :|

In theory...... if you write really good content that everyone loves and finds the need to write about how great your content is AND they provide links to your site then it might just happen.

So, how good is your content?

Are other blogs writing posts about how your site is a great resource?

Are people standing in line to sign up for your RSS feed?

About the $150.00......write it off as an expensive lesson.

 

Yeah seems like a scam. $150 only to get you to first page of Google for keywords like webmaster blog and webmaster tools... if the guy can do that, he should do it himself for his own sites as ranking on first page for keywords like these will bring you lots of targeted traffic from a very competitive niche, which would mean lots more than $150 in revenue.

don't worry about the key words, if ur site is good, organic visits will be multiplied..

get the quality content and link building more.

 

Go for natural link building and do it yourself. Do the basic SEO and stuffs. Write natural and fresh stuffs everyday.
Request for link exchange ect.. That keyword is a bit hard but not that difficult.

I think "NO Need to Pay"
your site will be show in the first page of the SEO if the user search using correct keyword,
xample: user search using key: military weapon to kill anybody.
in this case, if you have never post 'military weapon to kill anybody' so you website or blog will not be shown in the first page..

 

It is a continuing process so you must expect that you would be paying more than that.

 

THis according to your keyword, if its too competative and gives you good traffic daily >1k can pay more than 1000 doller will not loose anything this can earn within a month
