Yahoo's rival banner against google

On yahoo's homepage, you can see a flash banner advertising yahoo's search engine results.

I screenshot-ed it and here's a rough draft on the banner (in case you can't see it)

What do you guys think about the banner?

Hey but yahoo has started doing a lot of promotion of thier seearch ... they have the ad on the third empire decision screen also

 

No doubt, Yahoo! has improved their search engine very much. But still they need lots of hard work to beat Google.

I think google will improve their search engine also

 

It all looks nice but Yahoo still faces an uphill climb against the big G.

 

google is more of keyword based.. and yahoo is more of listings based...
both are great in their own ways..

 

yeah so I guess they pointed that out in their advertisement here.

 

Would still rather use Google. haha

 

The banner looks good but I am not sure if they can really prove that.

 

what do you mean if they can really prove this? they already have. they have user ratings, top brands, etc. to help us searchers.

 

Google is better handsdown !!

 

I like the banners, nice and colorful and creative. Even though it does have a pun again Google. LOL

Was it Jerry Yang himself posing as Santa who got lost while searching for a new job?

Yahoo has miles to go...before it can even nudge Big G from its slot..

google is always better than yahoo..

 

nice new logo for yahoo.. but they need more hard work to bet google..

 

I think santa could lost in all the links at yahoo homepage, just get both homepages and compare...
