What is the best way to go about protecting myself when buying a website? ive heard using paypal is not the best option. Which payment processor is safest for this transaction?

That is not true!!!!! Paypal is not the best!!!! if there is not tangible goods exchange paypal WILL NOT REVERSE your money for any reason. this is 100% a fact.

 

when you buy website,

make a agreement between you and the seller. also use Escow payment methord which is safer. but PayPal also good because you can claming the money back they the seller cheat you.

This Is A Good Way To Make Sure They Own The Site They Claim. The Comment Could Be Something Like "Owned By USERNAME Of DP Forums". That Way Its %99.99 Its There Site Because There Is A Lot Of Scam's where The Real Seller Will Make A Thread On Say SitePoint And Someone Will Copy And Paste It Here Take The Money And Run.
