Blogger Accounts

How many Blogs are you allowed to run on the Blogger network using Adsense on each? I can't track down any info across the web on this!

I see many Blogger accounts aided with 4 or 5 Adsense units across their page. This looks daft to me and will no doubt lower the cost of each click on that specific page. How many Ad units would you stick with? I was thinking 2 or 3 max, but not too sure if this would irritate incoming visitors.

    Thanks.

Never heard of a limit imposed before on how blogs one can own and running adsense.
A single page can only have max of 3 ad units and 3 link unit.

having more ad units dont guarantee more revenue. sometimes less can be more actually. higher paying ads show up on the top and then lower paying ads show below. if you have several ad units, then you will have higher paying and lower paying ad units displaying on the same page. since you cannot control visitor's click behavior, you cannot tell whether they will click on the high paying ads or low paying ads and oftent you will see lot of clicks on the low paying ads. so best thing to do is to use 2 ad units and place them on prominent position for maximum earning

Cheers guys, I have used one at the top (linkunit), one at the very bottom (468x40) and the large side banner (160x600) across from the content. Placement has worked quite well, have used all dark colours.

Really impressed with what Blogger/BlgSpot offer. Not surprised that Google bought them out! It is a right pain looking for sub domains tho, plenty already took up!

    :)

    yes
no limits by adsense, but keep in mind the adsense policies of adding adsense units per page with links units.
