Who would buy from me?

I am thinking about starting a very tiny hosting company, based on just hosting for proxies.

It would only be for proxies and only a few websites would the spots.

Would people be interested because it actually allows proxy's?

    How much should i charge?

How much room and bandwidth should i offer them each?

    Thanks again
    Brandon

Yes people would be interested if the features are nice, fast server, cheap prices.

    I'd charge maybe 3-5 bucks a month

around 100 gigs for cheapest then 200 gigs bandwidth for 2nd level

Look at the web hosting forum in here. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=98

People are constantly signing up for newer hosts in the market despite the presence of older and more established companies.

I see quite a few requests for proxy hosting there, so yes, people are interested.

As for space, bandwidth and price, going through some of those threads won't be a bad idea.

Hosting Is very hard market, but if you focus on a specific hosting type, then you can make a good name in that area.

Provide good service and you'll natural become better than other half-effect hosting that is out there.

    Good luck,

Let's say it's not that hard to set up a reseller hosting scheme to work from. What I'd rather focus on is competitive support that will place your business above others in the market, eventually. If you aren't up for that, then I would not consider starting a web hosting company at all.

Professional technical (not just sales) support that is as good as or beats the competition.

I agree with Clive here. One of the things that I've found in my time doing business on the net is that it's worth it to pay for good service. If you can provide good service (something most companies struggle with), you can be viable.

Yes now proxy hosting is a high demand biz
So you can get a lot of client.
For the price it mainly depend on you but i suggest your plan is at least
    1GB space and 100GB bandwidth for $2/month
