Shivraj Patil sends resignation letter to PM

Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil has sent his resignation to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh . Patil had offered to quit at the Congress Working Committee meeting on Saturday night held in the backdrop of the Mumbai terror strikes.

Patil told the meeting that as the Home minister he "takes the responsibility".

Is it Good or Bad ? What do you think?

Taking responsibility. My ass. Quitting like a coward does not improve the situation. If they were really interested in improving the security of the country, they would have done something in the past four years. But they didn't do anything. At the last moment, thanks to the emotional outpour of millions, he has 'taken responsibility' by resigning and fading into oblivion.

Indian politicians - Will they ever think of the country?

Yes i mean its possible i mean we dont know whether he does his work properly or not coz its all behind the scene work...

See if they have stopped a terror attack they wont disclose it in public that this was going to happen and we stopped it...

Ad campaigns? They are blatantly begging for the votes on the name of terror attacks, and wants to get in the power. Like what the hell would they do, or they did when they were in rule? How low these political party can go for the sake of votes. The time where we were need to be united, they divided us.

They could 'help' the current government if they wanted, but oh well.
