How can I change geographic target on webmaster tools?

    How can I set geographic target in google webmaster tools for .me domains? I don't want it targeted to Montenegro and in Webmaster Tools it says "Your site's domain (.ME) is already associated with the country/region: Montenegro" !

    How do you guys fix this?:mad:

    As far as I know... you can't. I have faced the same issue with .ca domains before.

    Log in to your Google Webmaster Tools, then select "Tools" -> "Set geographic target". If your domain ends with a local extension like "NL", then it is set to NL automatically by google.

    Yes, but I don't want it targeted to montenegro, I use the .me because it sounds good only !

    Well, that could be a problem. If it is already automatically asigned by google to Montenegro, the only way to target international SERP is to write content in English and use meta keywords "en-us". Also try backlinks from .com sites like Digg.
