http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1128704 I've been looking at websites to buy and bought a couple over the last few months. One thing i can't get my head round or find info on is proxies. Are they illegal? Do they have no life? Are they alot of effort? They seem to get good traffic and revenue and go for peanuts!
Yes proxy are legal such as use it for bypass blocked website by admin. And it is a wise move to put a TOS to state the thing clear to prevent any problem to you when any problem arise. Proxy get traffic easy than other website
They are legal and usually get good traffic. People from work trying to access blocked sites bring a lot of that traffic. Another large source of traffic is kids in schools. Although, you might have very high usage of your proxy for a few days, but usually school systems catch websites and block them. So if I were you, I would make several proxies and circulate them around the web one at a time.
I have a few proxies, they don't get that much traffic - but I don't put any effort AT ALL into advertising them. I've made about $40.00 in Adsense Content/Search in the last 3 months, from one proxy alone, so... There's your answer.
How can i win in Google adsence using this proxy ,i think they will delete my account !!! i have worldwide proxy Please PM me ur tricks GH Fever
For a start. Adsense is ok on the proxy home page but it is agaisnt the TOS to insert adsense code into proxied pages. But other advertiseing networks such as Adbrite are ok to use on proxied pages. There is another thread here for proxies already. That might be a good place to ask these kinds of questions as people who have proxy experience tend to hang out there.
There isn't really any tricks to it. http://www.friendlymotels.com/ I have an adsense search at the very top, people often mistake that AS the proxy and give me clicks when it doesn't work.
