There are so many traffic scams around. People are willing to fork out a few dollars to get what is percieved as a ton of traffic to their website. The truth is - they are most likely getting scammed. There is no magic bullet when it comes to getting traffic. Either, You buy it from a REPUTABLE program like Adwords or You generate it for free yourself - link by link. If you have bought 1000 hits for $2 or something similar, and then see a massive boost of hits to your site, chances are it was just a robot and not human traffic. Afterall, if you can't get a ton of human traffic in one hit - how can the scammers possible do it? Whatsmore - if they could, do you think they would be selling it for $2????? It would be worth a whole lot more than $2 thats for sure ! When it comes to traffic, you need FREE, TARGETED traffic. Traffic that is actually going to convert for you. There is no point in getting 1000 visitors with no interest in your product. You would be better off finding 10 visitors with 1 that buys, than 1000 visitors where none of them buy. Generating 1000 visitors for free that are targeted and human is going to take a long time. So when it comes to website traffic - remember if it looks too good to be true, then it most likely is.
Wow do your homework before you come and post. Have you checked your raw server logs and traced a few ip's to see their origin or their hostname? Have you seen the referrers from the sites? A lot of the sites use popunders or ptc which both mean human visitors. Ever heard of those sites where you get paid 1 cent to look at pages for 10 seconds? These are the kind of sites that are used. I don't use this traffic for converts or even adsense. I use it for bunk traffic so my conversion rates are between 2-5% otherwise i'd had a 1in6 conversion rate. I made $400 today and without some bunk traffic to my page to make my conversion rates look legit, i'd probably not be getting paid.
Does Adsense approve of PTC traffic? OK - Adsense isn't everything, but it is a good indicator of professional standards.
Does not matter if adsense aproves ptc or not, who are you the google police? You need to stop talking about stuff you have no clue what so ever what your talking about. You know how hard it would be for all of us ptc site owners and people who sell ebooks and have niche sites without PTC/GPT sites??? It would be very very hard to make income like most of us are. If you don;t like it then stop posting stuff. I don't think many people on here would even agree with you one bit!
Its true, natural traffic is best. But,ptc traffic is not scam. But,most of the ptc site owner is scam! So,be careful to be a member of PTC site.
PTC traffic is really good, it catches eyes of thousands of potential customers/members. Being a cheaper alternative it really helps. It even increases alexa rankings.
naturals best, and sure 25-50% of traffic things are scams, but honestly PTC is one of the best, because its simple, you pay $1-$20 per thousand, and of those thousand you get 10-100 interested visitors. trick is buy trial package or smallest package first.
The only traffic scam I hace seen is free traffic, nothing in this world is free and the types of traffic and or advertising available by myself and a few others on here is definatly not a scam. I ask you all when was the last time you got a pop-up? It was probably from one of our real live networks. How about expired domain traffic is that a scam ,and that is traffic adwords cannot complain about! what about contextual advertising ? or behavioral ? keyword targeted ? those are exactly what adwords offers ,that I to can provide,is that a scam because if you think so you are saying adwords is a scam as well. like these other providers said you better research your topics before you post something on a forum with so many providers.
to bad ptc trafic isnt perm. The best way to get traffic is to buy out domains and perm links. More places your link is, the more traffic you will get
