Hello coders, For my new project I need 1 coder for a long term project which has knowledge of php and Wordpress. I want to start a new cityguide created with Wordpress, but it need to be modified a lot. Since this will be a never ending project I am looking for a trustworthy coder that is able to work on it from time to time to build this city guide bigger and bigger with new features after the initial fundament has been made. It is capable of displaying links to similar articles based upon City and Niche [eg, an Italian restaurant in Amsterdam can display a link to the article “Guide to Italian Dining in Amsterdamâ€] Archive [Niche] This is the section the user will interact with first. On this page, the user will see a list of businesses matching their search. The amount of data shown will be dependent upon the number of components added to the template page. At the admin’s discretion, standard “articles†[eg, WordPress posts] can be interspersed with business listings. The number of search results can be limited by the admin or programmer on the template page. The number of search results defaults to 10 items, with paging capabilities. Results are sorted in alphabetical order. Search This section allows the user to perform a search on existing businesses. The search results will be displayed on the Archive page [see above]. City This section will display a list of Niches related to the City. A business count will display next to each Niche [eg, Real Estate Officers (5)]. Only Niches containing one or more business entry will be displayed. City List This section will display a list of Cities. Only Cities that contain Niches containing businesses will display. Back End [WP-Admin] Add Business [Write menu] This section will contain a form with all elements of a business [see attached]. It will also contain two WordPress input fields for short description and long description. When a new business is added, it will be immediately available on the front end. Edit/Delete Business [Manage menu] This section will allow the admin to edit and/or delete an existing business. It will contain all the elements from Add Business, populated with existing information. Changes made to a business cannot be reverted. Once a business is deleted, it cannot be recovered. City Guide Settings [Manage menu] This section contains all settings related to the City Guide plug-in, such as adding Cities [see attached for full list]. Any changes made to the plug-in will take effect immediately, and cannot be reverted. I am aware that this will be a time consuming task, but frankly I have no idea how much it would cost me to do business with a reputable DP member. Does it have to be WordPress? I do not have an issue with you choosing it, I'm using it myself for a number of projects but I personally think that WP isn't the best option for your type of business. Depending on your budget, I can work this out for you, of course. Are you confortable with using live messenger communication?
Well, ok, but I do prefer Wordpress for a couple of reasons. About communication; i would like to receive some quotes first before I will start conversations by phone, email or chat since that will eat a lot of my time, so firstly I would like to see some offers here or by PM. Thanks
Thanks for the pm's everybody. Unfortunately I still received standard "Hey hello we are a development company and I have a team that can realize your wishes bla bla bla". I don't need shit like that, I prefer dedicated support though. Anyway since this is a pretty complex project with lots of requirements from my end and modifications in Wordpress, I have created a doc file with a brief. Serious coders who are willing to do this project can read all the details and can quote me for this project. I am not looking for the cheapest price, I am looking for the best price/quality with lots of dedication in customer support.
