Once again Cricket at loss because of terror. Asian countries are really facing the heat of this and recent Mumbai terror attack forced England to called off their on going tour. Not only this coming Champions League Twenty20 is also in doubt as Middlesex cancelled their air flight. Shane Warne refused to come to India. What do you think about this guys because terrorist attack not only effect with bullets they leave the impact mentally as well. Please share your views
well i think they are phattus . y this happens to Asian countries only did any countries canceled tours or issued notice not to travel when 9/11 happened or 7/11 in uk ???
This is a really bad news for India.Because of terror India is suffering a lot.Due to this england withdraw the tour.
If you will see with their perspective they are also true because they have their families and life. Why should they will take a chance. Money and fame is not bigger than life. I am now worried about twenty20 league as well which were going to start on this December 3rd
Yes and for information that Hotel Taj was venue for players to stay for CL 2008. I think they are somehow ture to cancelled the tour as life is not secure in Mumbai right now and it will be difficult to play under this mental condition. Austraila denied to send 2 teams while SA's 2 teams also not coming right now. So officially in evening IPL will confime that CL 2008 is called off.
So finally news are coming that one dayers are off and test will go on. ECB requested to shift second test venue from Mumbai to Southern India. They rescued themselves by humiliating 7 - 0 defeat. Lollzz
Because if England play than they will be whitewashed, so the best thing for them is to live the tour in the middle. Otherwise they will loose all the games and nothing to show up when they will go back. No point in giving in to the demands.
But I did not understand why ECB have choose southern part, may be their intelligence service recommend that zone is safe.
Sports in pleasing times is only fun for people, but Sports in dark time or after attacks create new life in people. So after terrorist attacks sports is important to give new life to people.
2 one days are cancelled , wheres as test match are bound to be rescheduled. The 2 one days didnt hold much value as series is already won by indian, so they choosed safety ahead

yeah with three new test match specialist player .. Panesar, Vaughan (I do not remember third name) can add some boost to their team. I think they will be strong contender in test match format.
On any day life is bigger than cricket! The players' reluctance to play or the overseas teams' fear to come to India is well understandable! There is no guarantee to anyone's life in India! Remember? We have lost a PM to the bullet rain showered by her own security guards! Lets feel happy we have had at least 5 matches (only rain playing spoilsport and not terror, thankfully!)
