    ive tried php.ini and .htaccess methods...

    in my php.ini:
    register_globals = On

    in my .htaccess:
    php_flag register_globals on

    ---

    what am i doing wrong?, upon checking the info.php it is still off...do i just need to wait or it already changes upon editing those files...

    this is the info

    thanks you so much...

    Your host may block it entirely, not sure if possible, but if they did that it may never work.

    You edited php.ini directly or by uploading php.ini with it in it into your directory?

    try putting in you script

    ini_set('register_globals','On'); its either On/Off, True/False, 1/0
    echo ini_get('register_globals');

    reported it to the server tech support and its not fine...

    the problem was it was pulling out information from another folder within the server...i think php5 and php4 have different folders thats why others change and some did not...

    hope this helps other guys who stumble on this problem...

    thank you again for the response...:D
