But seriously guys, I was just wondering, what if Google simply decided to say goodbye tomorrow, and there was nothing you could do about it?

All your email accounts, alerts, analyitcs/webmaster stats, etc.Transformed into thin air.

What I'm trying to say, is that do you think we should put so much trust in something we have no control over?

Google is everything, its consuming us all, its unstoppable, when your out at work it pops round and seduces your partner, i think they will rename the planet to google in the future.

There is nothing we can do if google closes down. We all have to go down with it but like some guy said, the human greed wont give room for that.

fiction, IMO, Google will never close and not even close competitors will emerge because Google itself implement a great concept not only as a search engine, but they diversify their function as an email provider and a great advertising company.
