Nice blog...Some people might find it slightly too much but its true that on the 20th and 25th the payment processor was down. The guy is sure to be more down to earth than clickbank's attitude
ahh no 25th cb time. but what was strange is that i had sales in totally new products i am promoting and only 1 sale from a regular product. forex and some health ones. all up today (yesterday mare timezones) i had 11 sales.
just then for lols i tested my hoplink on one of the better converting products in IE. at first it had [affiliate = none] then went back and tried again and it worked. the other 3 products on the review page were fine. tested in firefox and it came up with totally random affiliate! ? cleared cookies. and tried again and it was affiliate= none. looks like around 1/3 of the time (after doing it about 15 times) it comes up as affiliate = none pretty gheybo
OMG!! I read the clickbank sucks blog!! This guy thinks that I work for clickbank what I freakin loser!! http://clickbanksucks.amxpert.com/spooks-talk-making-it-onto-forums/#comment-7 This guy has totally lost the plot and the sad thing is hes managed to rope in other people into doing this ranting and raving about clickbank. OMFG I'm glad hes banned from here.
Simply because my sales went from XXXX to XX, recieved 7 emails from customers that were not able to buy, and that crazy(but rightful) guy mentioned it in his blog as well.........
Overall sales have increased for me this month, With December just around the corner is going to get better I reckon. I'm just using BUM marketing and abit of SEO, nothing big really.
That's just bizarre, Some people really go all out, and even though Patchkaa and I butt heads sometimes, this was uncalled for - Hey Patchkaa, doesn't it suck when someone calls you out in a false manner?! Hahaha karma - had to laugh at it though - the thought of you being an undercover CB mole is hilarious. This blogger is passionate about his business, and his losses, and CB's flaws, good blog overall though, it's stuff like this that gets buzz. N.
Yeah it does, I apologise for my actions towards you mate that was silly on my behalf, and yeah good on you for your success I'm trying to sell your forex products but I think I went for the wrong keyword. Just trying to tell him (Supper) that his hate campaign is not doing any good for him, if you read it Norb its way over the top, like hes letting it consume him and the sad thing here is that other DP members are jumping on the bandwagon and allowing themselves to get roped in. But yeah an "uncover CB worker" that is way "OUT" there, which is why I think this guy has totally lost it.!!
Thank you mate, I appreciate that more than you think. In turn I apologize for lashing back in such strong defense. We koo', and moving forward let's just take it as a speed-bump to a positive outcome and mutual success. Feel free to reach out for help or touch down at the NC forum a bit for more forex stuff (some secret launches always happening). ** I didn't know this was Supper's blog actually. Rather surprised. Will have to have a better look later as I can at least say that he does write very well, despite the agenda, should call for good reading. In truth - I HATE fluctuations too, YES some days CB has their screw ups, YES I lose money too, YES I can rant and rave and try to find some secret solution or launch a hate campaign against the problem... but NO it won't make a difference for me other than waste time on non-productive energies, worry/fear is like a disease, and it will consume any man that attempts to confront it, case in point. Advice for those on the brink of a hate campaign: Diversify, leave CB, try 10 other networks, try some big ticket phone sales, try to simply continue your goal, which perhaps may be deeper than to become a 'cb superaff', but a good sales person online and off, who is - making money. Think about it, when you're not making money, and you're stuck, and not-inspired, what sounds better a)Research a new potential rev. stream and deploy it b)Launch a hate campaign, forum thread, and bombard the industry with negativity whilst wasting time that could have been dedicated to option 'a' - making money, not losing time/vibes. N. **There's another thread floating around here where the member took a week off and came back stronger then ever after re-focusing, you should all read it carefully, should inspire you to simply 'try' things you normally wouldn't, by virtue of walking away from everything for a week to clear thoughts and strategize.
Good Advice as always. However, being a publisher with several successful products is much different - even is extremly slow days you would still make some profit The small guys are the once that are hit the most, they try and try and then it seen that they are just going against a storm - going downwards instead of moving forward. In this situation one must be really dedicated/crazy to find enough energy to continue - especially after seeing your highly optimized campaigns that you worked on for months getting useless..
Yes its days like today that make it even harder 200 hops 1 sale, I think its like NC said maybe time to refocus and regroup.
Its not as easy as it sound. I personally cant dare to change anything from my campaigns since I know that in "Normal Days" they are yielding 200%-300%ROI, while on days like today im going under. Probably ill be back to the 200% ROI point tomorrow - you got the point............. I always wonder, how is it possible that in such a huge market and thers no real clickbank alternative.......any developer interested in starting such a project in here?
As an affiliate I'm selling different products from different vendors. I have on a average day 60 conversions. Yesterday (25th) only 12! Now that is what I call a abnormal fluctuation. (amount of cpc traffic was the same as normal yesterday) Even on the 13th of this month when CB had the hoplink problem (affiliate=none) as confirmed by CB here: ht tps://www.clickbank.com/account/systemLog.htm#2008-11-13 I did not see such a huge drop in conversions. I can handle the fluctiuations in conversions. That is sort of part of the deal. But I can't handle that there is no message on or from CB that they had a problem yesterday. As for today, till 9 in the morning conversions are higher then normal. Then from 9 till 12 it is normal. Then from 12 till now (14.47) zero sales and that is abnormal again...
Exactly the same here, today started as a good day for me too and then nothing... People, how many are we in here? thousands? how is it possible that noone can think of anything that we can do? like develope our own open source affiliate system or something? Being a developer myself I know that its not such a difficult task, especially if we are a handful of developers....
