Little to no money being made :(

    Hello,

I just started my site http://www.passfilter.com less than a week ago. I've placed AdSense ads on it and its generating very little money everyday, a few cents if I'm lucky! :(

    I'm getting about 100 uniques a day.

Have I placed the ads correctly? What can I do do increase AdSense revenue? :(

What is the source of your traffic?

I think you might want to redesign your website.

please be patient, you can't earn big with adsense in a week.

Try to work hard, search the forum for useful adsense tips and wait for increase in adsense income.

    Goodluck!

I think a redesign is needed aswell. You have 2 open spaces on the sides. I suggest you add 2 tower ad units there

Same situation to me, more than 500 page impressions now without a click. I am trying to reorder the ads.

You can only earn big money with traffic. You should not worry about the placement of your ads until you have increased the traffic to your site. 100 uniques is okay if your site is a high-paying niche. But there is a lot of competition with the high-paying niches. Good luck. :)

    What kind of problems?

Anyway, do you guys suggest I take off all the ads right now until traffic increases or keep them?

I'm not really sure how to re-design the site, I think its fine as it is.

The ad on the right is causing all other content to bump down so nothing else displays in the fold (it looks like a blank page, with ads on the left). You should always preview your site in ie and firefox because there are differences in how html displays. Also check it in different screen resolutions.

Site is just a week old as you said, give it some time and just wait for some time. Dont put more then one ad unit. Try using LargeRectangle box that helps I have observed thats the best one to get clicks!
    Rest is with your luck.
    Wish you luck man!

Edit: Just check your site design you got some design problem no one will even like to visit your site if it continues to be this way! Make sure you correct it, check the image!

You must fix the problems in firefox, one whole page shows your ads at the left, your sourcecode contains the left table first, then the meta keys.. sux.. redesign, read about html a bit, because you made big mistakes with the code writing.. use one table 3x3 merge some of them and ready to go if you're using webdesigner program..

For the time being, I've taken out all the ads? How does it look in FF now?

I guess I'll start concentrating more on traffic now :)

Looks much better, but...read MakeSens comment above, there are some prety serious faults in the HTML coding that will definitely cause problems for you in some way or other if they aren't sorted. (eg links at bottom being outside /HTML is pretty unconventional...)

I'll be going over the whole script in a day or so, switching from PHPProxy for CGIProxy and making the design alot better (hopefully!).

    Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

take care with your meta tags, they really matter, let spiders come to crawl your site and you <h1><h2><h3> tags in case you want something to a keyword of your site, SE and Google is watching that the most.. good luck

Sometimes less is more so don't place billions of ads and banners..

Holy crap! You may wish to redesign it and also advertise to bring in more traffic. :)

I advice you to work on backlinks first, make good link exchange with high traffic websites, work for a month on that, then put it in adsense, maybe amazon is a good stuff too.. backlinks are very important, and never link to a site which isnt even indexed properly.. here's a tool to find a website's backlinks http://www.makefreemoneyathome.info/free.php. It's called link popularity checker, there's some free stuff...usually I work with them daily..
