Looking for the owner of DirectoryCritic

but if he is listing them for free, how can we complain about nofollow?

 

Im talking about premium listings which he changed from being dofollow to nofollow

so here is an update:

Last Friday the owner of directorycritic got back to me. I sent him $150 for the upgraded listing.

My listing has not been upgraded yet and he hasn't responded to any of 3 email through the last 5 days. I have no choice but to open a dispute with PayPal.

A while ago I had also purchased banner advertising from him. Once I asked him about it MANY times over the week after, he finally emailed back with anger telling me that I should have done a "hard refresh" and he had uploaded my banner the same day as I made my payment ==> wrong. I did do a hard refresh every time and it wasnt there.

So I had given him the benefit of the doubt that maybe I was doing something wrong. But this new incident proves that is not the case.

 

that's strange. I talked with him yesterday to buy banner ad and he responded quickly to pay and get it.

You are absolutely right Mikey. I saw DirectoryRate being for sale too. did it sell? I thought the auction didn't reach reserve.

Hopefully the new owner of directoryrate will take good care of it.

so the owner of directorycritic hasn't answered to the paypal dispute and today I had to raise the dispute to a claim.

Its very sad that a good website like directorycritic is being managed this way

Directory Critic used to be owned by another Aussie, Damien Mase (masetek). He sold it to another DP member (inetzeal?) who has sold it to someone else. Since I am not an owner, nor affiliated with the site, I cannot help, sorry

Advice for those who wanna pay to get listed there: don't do it. Keep your money while they are in your pockets
