Favourite Movie Directors?

Hi, I have searched through old posts, but could not find a similar thread to answer this topic. Just wondered who your favourite movie directors are?

I have many, I guess Alfred Hitchcock, Christopher Nolan and David Fincher are three of my personal favourites.

I love,of course, George Lucas
...and Emir Kusturica for his outstanding sense of reality and his authentic humour

I think Peter Jackson did very well with LOTR. I like Ridley Scott and Spielberg as well

 

John Mctiernan, yep very good... he also directed Predator around that time.

 

I like Tim Burton films, they are dark, witty and funny

 

Another Spielberg fan here. The visual effects in some of his films are simply superb

 

Tim Burton is my favorite.

 

Well I admire both Steven Spielberg and James Cameron

 

For me its Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, Ron Howard, Peter Jackson, Chris Columbus, William Wyler and James Cameron
