[WTB] Shared Hosting for Wordpress Blog

I am looking for a good hosting provider for my blog, the host should be able to manage 200-300+ users online at a time, please suggest me some hosting, I am looking for disk space not more than 1 gb and good bandwidth, My budget would be around $5-$9/ Mo

i suggest cirtex hosting i am using cirtex since last 2 years for my blog on which i am getting 2K + visitors a day .

im sure shared cant handle it

try a good vps make your budget increase upto 15$ atlist

I don't think your blog suitable for shared hosting , better check VPS or dedicated offers.

 

esidyo, to handle a 200-300+ users online at a time you have to go for a semi dedicated solution or for a VPS. You can get a semi-dedicated solution for around 20$.

Let me clear you our semi dedicated solution. Semi dedicated hosting solution is upgraded version of Shared Hosting in which only few clients (5-10 clients) sites are hosted there. The benefit of the semi dedicated solution is that you don't need to spend some extra money on control what you have to do in a VPS.

Are you really seeing 200-300 actual individual people online at the same time all the time? If so, that's quite a bit. Can you be a little more specific on your numbers, traffic, etc.?

You're talking like one fifth of the level of this forum itself. That's gonna be a bit more than the $9 range from anyone.

I thought that the traffic wouldn't matter as I would be adding wp-super cache into it which will just produce and html file rather than loading the data everytime, that can reduce server load, what say ? meethere told me about this!

 

There are plenty of good VPS' below 40$, you cant judge a host by its price.

 

Who are you currently hosting you blog with? Also can you give us an example of a blog that has 200-300+ users online at one time that you are trying to achieve for you blog.

 

As everyone suggested, VPS is your best choice, there are plenty of reputable VPS provider out there, futurehosting, powervps, vpsland, wiredtree.. good luck

No, I meant that they aren't always online, but sometimes due to Digg/Stumble effects, I was hosting with tmzhosting, they banned me because of high cpu usage

 

Thats why you should not go with shared hosting..
