Hey all, A few weeks ago I came across a thread at DP that recommended decent resources where you can order articles from. One of that site was a marketplace of some sort, done in a very social style, where you, the buyer, can post specifications for an article and writers, the sellers, will bid on it. BUT, these sellers will carry a badge that will identify them from newbie writers to professional writers. I think it had to do with quality of their work. Obviously, the higher the price, the better quality material one could get. I am unable to find that site, nor here not on Google and its driving me crazy. Does anyone the site I am talking about? Thank you.
Nope. Elance is large and well known, I would have definitely recalled it. It wasn't a very well known site, but growing in popularity... I guess another night search session for me...
Hmmmm, could it have been one of these: www.constantcontent.com (their private request feature) www.rentacoder.com www.getafreelancer.com www.ifreelance.com
Neither of these, Jenn, but thanks nevertheless. Btw, constantcontent.com seems to be out of business.
Ah! Makes sense. Unfortunately, this is still not that website. It would have been so easy to track the thread if I were to post in it. Too bad I did not... Aghh!
Nope, none of these so far. I do use few browsers, and already went through browsing history. I feel like I'll end up in a straitjacket...
What I do in these circumstances (and I'm using Firefox 3.0.4) is to type the major keywords into the address bar (eg article author) and hope that one of the suggestions is the one I need. I don't know how long this address bar history is kept but it has dug me out of a few holes
It was something close to http://www.articlebid.com/ however it looked better and writers (or quality of their writing) were categorized by category. The higher the level of professionalism, the more expensive the rates.
Could it have been www.ewritersworld.com? That's run by a member here, and is relatively new, but lists writers by things like their education and price levels.
Jenn, I love your persistence, but that's not it, although the "colors" of the site look similar. I am absolutely sure I heard about that site here at DP. I am also pretty sure it was either the Content or Content Creation forum (most likely in the Content Creation) where one of the members posted his positive feedback about the service...
