Is that reason for ban ?

    i dont think so. its only well placed ad.

    but i am looking forward to answers from more experienced adsense publishers.

    I havent seen any google adsense rule which says its forbidden to put image near the ads.

    yes. it is a basic reason for ban. there should be line between pic and ads.

    Check carefully and google around because the image here is just too close. In fact, I've read about it before. Adsense blog should be a good start.

    The rule is that you are not allowed to draw undue attention to the ads. Here is what the official Adsense blog said:

    Click the link and you can see an example of not OK images. The way yours is linked up , it looks not OK.
