I'm currently working on this issue,and I found that only few of them are registered under the same ip at almost same time,so I consider it's the spam of some members/non members...
because subscribing to mailing list is no need email verification,only during membership registration double opt the newsletter option.
i'll fix this issue asap and implement some extra protection there.

Although i did come to see what was being offered, its a really bad experience, i never take such risks !!
