    What is the meaning of being a Super-Power?

    Does it imply that there is no more poverty?

    Does it mean that the armed forces are extremely powerful?

    Or does it mean that as a country, people have matured enough to eliminate their self-imposed divisions based on religion, caste or language? India has a long way to go...

    Could you be more clear please...

    If 1 USD becomes equal to 1 Rupee, what would it mean for India?

    Would that mean Rupee has grown stronger compared to all international currencies, or would it imply USD has grown extremely weak wrt Indian currency?

    And if it happened, in what way would it affect the Indian economy? How would Indian exports be affected? If the whole world produces gods cheaper than us, then what would happen to our industrial base? Would we import and consume as Americans do today?

    Tell me what you think..........................................

Most of the guys who post here have no clue about Indian economy and come up with ultra-patriotic shit which is mostly senseless. They seem to suffer from a very bad hangover caused by watching films like Singh is King. ;)
