Just got a Forum and wanted to know what hacks there are for vBulletin for SEO. Anyone know how best to get google to index all the pages on the forum? Also, some forums have the name of the thread in the URL when you open the thread and some do not. Does this matter? What is best to do? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, HB
I don't own a Vbulletin forum but I have heard good things about vbseo plug-in. It's supposed to be costly but I have only heard glowing reviews about it. I think it's better to have thread name in URL. DP doesn't have it but still does very well.
Thanks, I am checking out vBseo. Looks good but you are right, looks expensive. $150 I am checking out these as well TfSEO ZendSEO Looks like TfSEO needs some more work though. OK, thanks for the help. If anyone else knows something about SEO and VBulletin please post it here. Cheers, HB
It's expensive in comparison to vBulletin itself, however it's worth every penny especially if your forum is monetized as it will pay for itself. I wouldn't consider the options like ZendSEO, i've known quite a few people to use these alternate ones and vB upgrades wind up breaking the SEO/Rewrites but vBSEO is a pretty stable product with good support. So i'd choose vBSEO or nothing.
vBseo quite better then TFSEO. I Installed TFSEO but do not enjoyed after Uninstalling it switched to vBseo 150$ are worth of it .
Hi, thanks for the help. Can you tell me what experience you had with vBSEO that makes you think it was not worth it? Most people here seem to think it is good. Did you have different experience with it? Thanks, HB
HI, thanks for taking the time to help. I am curious about how vBSEO has helped with SEO. Can you tell me what this means, achieving link consensus,? I'm just new to SEO work. Thanks, HB
not only is vbseo a great seo product but the staff are a big plus they help on just about everything really glad I bought it
