Here they go again. Google's market share is rising every month at the expense of Yahoo and MSN. While many of us are not happy with how our sites have been listed, Google keeps sailing right along.

It is all because of Yahoo and Msn they are failing to appeal as search engines.
I am sure MSN can rise when vista would be available.

I think so, too. However, I am less sure about Yahoo's long term prospects.

MSN will be the default SE in the new operating system which will give them a bunch of power since millions are expected to upgrade the OS within a matter of weeks/months.

I hope there will be some competition. Google is good but a situation where all your sites/revenue depending on one major engine is not really the ideal situation. Yahoo tried to fight, but now it seems they have given up :(

That would be cool... MSN is a joke when it comes to manipulating it's results, so it would be a boon for a lot of people here. :)

My guess is they will improve their results before the "Vista" public version goes live around April of next year. If they don't, improve search results, then this wonderful opportunity might be missed forever.

Vista will definitely change the picture. Like it or not. Personally I like diversity, so I'm happy with it. Live.com is the new search engine of Microsoft aparently based on MSN. I get some traffic from it, and its' used by alexa as well..
