Does dp go down a lot?

I have known about dp for no more then two months. This is now my second account because my first account mysteriously disappeared after the last dp down time.

I was lucky enough for not to happen to me this time, but the servers were down again to day and i was wondering if this happens a lot.

How long were you guys down today?

I was getting the vibes it had been hacked when i was trying to log in some times it kept coming up that the site had been hacked.

 

SPAMMED is more likely.

It's no ordinary spam.

Seems like some kind of bot that is hitting the servers hard.

I am sure website will be up and running very fast. some of my threads are not showing up correctly

 

It's working fine now.

 

The past few days have experienced pretty bad downtime, but usually its ok.

 

I can't access my first account, it says "You have entered an invalid username or password." I emailed DP but twice but they didn't replied to my email. I can still see all my post from my previous account and it is not banned.

 

Not yet. It is still not doing well.
I hope they get us involved in what is happening maybe we can help.

 

If this is the case it would be nice for a couple of established members to start up something new and take the bull by the horns.

I really dont like other sites like namepros and would hate to see the end of this. But if enough big members put something together and made a big effort to get enough of the good people transferred over then there is no reason as to why it should fail.

Just a thought anyway. I would much rather be part of a site which the owner takes a pride in their sites. If this is no longer viable for them to run either sell it or someone who has the enthusiasm should take over.
