Whats the best way to market a service?

I am going to be starting my site soon where people come to the site enter there store details and they get a web store. Thats it summed up quickly anyway.

What would be the best way to market this sort of service?

 

Give the service a trial version or a sample or even a demo. Then after a person tries it, have them offer their feedback

So for beginners, you're going to concentrate on the ease and speed of your service.

The majority of people who said that they have considered setting up a website but haven't yet, claimed that they didn't do so either because they didn't have time or didn't know how. Again--ease and speed is your marketing point.

 

i think forum marketing and blog articles, that way you can reach alot of potential buyers

 

Promote it at other buyandsell forum and DP.
Make some press release to create some buzz about your website

 

Market your website through Yahoo and MSN advertising services.
Or
Contextual Advertising will also work better for you.

Marketing a website is a great challenge and plan has to be implemented and the goal has to be accomplished within a given period of time.My friend have a plan don't go directly for advertising as everybody does.

Develop a plan for accomplishing the goal.

Yeah taken all those into account. I have got the blog online now just so I can give people updates if they care .

The design is pretty much finished all with seo, headings etc.

After I have completed design I am going to be getting the main CMS done.

What I am thinking is, what will be best.

Have a homepage to give all the information about the service but obviously since its not ready yet they cant do anything.

Or wait until its all done and leave the splash page up.

 

Best way is to promote it thier are so many ways you can go through them and choose which one is okay for you.

for example you can write an article, blog, book marking, social media traffic so many go through and see what works best for you.

And above all offer people a great service and value and they will recommend you to their friends

 

Promote it on PPC sites.
