    Hi

Just thought of getting some inputs from members here. I have a website that is 1 year old has 24 unique visitors per day. I do have 450 registered users.

I am running Adsense on my website and only make about $3-5 a month.

I want to brainstorm here on what can be done to increase my revenue, How can I benefit from traffic?.

I really want to make atleast $100 per month from this site as I have invested lot of time. Is it possible ?

    The URL is http://csqa.info

This site provides information on CSQA certification. It also provides community tools

This is probably a dumb comment, but I didn't know what "csqa" meant. After visiting your site, I still don't.

If you put some keywords in your <title></title>, you might get better traffic as well.

Also, I had to go back and look to find your Adsense ads.

I'll second that. Put up a short paragraph explaining what it is, with links to further information, somewhere very prominent. Between your navigation and shout box would be a good place. I don't even know what industry CSQA is for, or why anyone would need it.

Add a reward system where people can exchange cash after posting like 500 times, with more than 100 words, 20 bucks and make it more popular ;)

    And of course, friendly urls.

450 registered members but only 24 unique visitors per day... definately need more traffic to make more than $3-5 a month from Adsense.

Also, I would use the large/medium rectangle adsense ad and put it somewhere above the fold... the location of your adsense ads and what format you use helps to make more money.

CSQA is a very niche market , There are only 10K active CSQA today. Every year around 3K people over the world take this exam.

I had developed the site with intention that people would build communities here, but that did not happen yet.

I like the idea of rewards system, I do have userpoints on my website.

What I really want is the QA Trainings & related people to advertise on my site. I contacted a few, but it is time consuming. Is there a way where advertisers lookup for banner ads ( Adbrite did not accept me)

Very targeted niche audience. Maybe collect emails through a newsletter. If the traffic is loyal, I see you making decent money through sponsorships. Sometimes volume isn't everything. Sometimes, advertisers take targetting over volume.

If your spending a lot of time on it for the last 1 year, and your only making $3-$5 per-month, I wounld move on to another project, focus your time something else.

Yeah, move it up where it can be seen. Don't leave the ads on your footer. Very few people will notice it.

Thats right. At first I thought you are talking about another form of income because I didn't see adsense there. You should be happy to get $0.10 per month with this placement.
I would say you earn at least 10 times more by putting adsense block just beneth "Home" link.

    Keep us informed.

I really liked the idea of putting adsense below home ... I have done that... Also in the footer i have put leaderboard instead of banner.

mahmood --- I am also looking for other forms of income since my monthly target is $100 & I am way behind.

I am a csqa professional and this area intersts me so I am sticking to this website for now.

How about POP UPs. I figured I had 1000 hits last months so that would add atleast $4 to my income.

You obviously don't want to change the design of your site. You have put google Adsense links under home link, I think everybody here meant that you put that leaderboard there.

By the way, pop us is rubbish, don't do that. You scare off your users just for $4.
