I think that the logo looks amateurish and you could do with something more professional. Apart from that the blog looks good.
The layout and design is not bad but I think it would be great if you added some more graphics to the page maybe some screen shots from the software.
Hmmm....I like the selection of the template that you use. Categories are neatly arranged and I believe as more contents are added, the blog should be getting more traffic to it.
Here are some good points I noted about your site .. Template is simple & professional . Navigation is superb . Sidebar ads placement is nice . The most important thing - the content you are publishing is worth reading ! You are using SEO friendly URL's that's the best part ! Things you can improve : Favicon could be more better . Use some logo with your site - because the brand you produce for your site does matter ! Try to explain things step by step , so that beginers can easily get things . Current ads placement is good but you can improve it by placing the 468*60 banner between the blogposts rather than placing it on top - it will reflect more clicks . Try building links for your blog because it's a new blog - the more you put hard work in , the more you get boost up traffic . Good information but I think that your header should be redesigned. Add some images and create a logo for your site.
Thanks for your review. What do you mean by Favicon? I did try to add the 468x60 google ad under first post but , it did not work , you know any step by step guild that will explain how to do it?
favicons are the little images next to the URL on your address bar at the top. if you go to my site, theres a little organe box with a man with his hands up, thats my favicon! i agree with the comments made here, and the logo does look a bit amateruish, however I can offer you a free PSD custom made for ur site, in return of a backlink pm me if your interested but all in all good site, with good content!
Thanks for telling me what favicon is , you learn somthink new everyday, im i correct in saying it only shows up on FF? Also how would i go about editing that, saying that its not like its a big thing as not many people look at it do they?
I use this theme for a lot of the sites I flip, only thing you need to worry about is getting traffic and putting up good content.
I think M3rC explained favicon vividly ! For inserting ads b/w posts you have to edit the index file of your templete . Yep , Adsense has been added under 1st post on each page. A nice header image has been made , with head from M3rC as he offerd to do it for me , thanks for that it looks sweet. I have now edited the right hand side to make it look more better and not have so much empty space hope it looks better.
