The bee eyes and antennae (is that spelled correctly?) incorporated in to the e is a nice touch. I like both entries. No web address on the second one. Don't know if that is important to the customer or not. Maybe a few slight adjustments on either entry would do the trick. Can't wait to see some other entries.
Seriously, why are you running around providing feedback to contests that aren't yours? Personally, I think you are going to confuse the designers, especially new ones. It's nice to give compliments, but anything beyond that is overstepping your boundaries, in my opinion.
Cut him a little slack, he's new to DP and may not know the rules. (Though I agree, I didn't pay attention to the usernames and I though it was the contest starter who said that)
