I have a question- What if for instance a player playing from an IPL team is also part of Australian or any other team participating in the league?? What will happen then?

It has happened, Albie Morkel played for the Titans and for the Chennai Super Kings. He had the option of playing for both and the Chenni team had to re-buy him from the Titans to play for them.

As it stands he has been named in the squad for the Chennai guys.

The whole idea of twenty-twenty football, IPL, the bollywood connection and this so called champions league, everything is cringe worthy. Give me good old test cricket over this crap any day.

There are 8 teams playing in Champions League T-20.

    1. Chennai Super Kings (India)
    2. Dolphins (South Africa)
    3. Middlesex Crusaders (England)
    4. Rajasthan Royals (India)
    5. Sialkot Stallions (Pakistan)
    6. Titans (South Africa)
    7. Victoria Bushrangers (Australia)
    8. Western Australian Warriors (Australia)

I will go with Rajasthan Royals because it's my favorite team.;)

yep, no questions about it. But, it may be because this is the first time for the same. Probably there would be a more streamlined process from the second edition (where incidentally, there would be 12 teams!)

Player can decide himself for which team to play and if he chooses to play for any of those Indian team, then BCCI also gives his home team some money.

    3rd Dec.

Begins on 3rd December, is an eight day event, 2 groups of four teams each, round-robin in each group, top two teams qualify for semi-finals...and then the final. I have written an article on the same...where most of the questions should get answered...
    http://www.sportspundit.com/article/1570/

Matches are at 4pm IST and 8pm IST

I will also put my money on Chennai Super Kings but beware of South African teams which have more experince then any others and team is T20 specialist.

Did you check performance of Dolphins? I think South African team playing more T20 matches then others and Dolphins will be a Dark horse in thie CL 2008.
