Hey all, Looking at ranking for the 'click for chickens' url in my sig for 'chicken breeds' as it's not something im ranking well for, but seem to be getting traffic from. What daily or weekly strategy would you suggest!? Anyone with a good post i'll glady bump up your rep!
Just continue on building links for your site. I see that you had an analytic on your site, which country do you get your traffic?
Check your referral sources and keywords that are giving you maximum traffic. You might be ranking in country specific google tlds. Just keep building backlinks and post new interesting content on your website and you should be fine
I'm sure that you don't get your traffic from search engines. It is important for a site to target keywords that have high volume of searches. Being in the top position or number 1 rank doesn't mean that you will receive tons of visitors. I suggest you make a keyword research and then start your link building strategies.
you got a moderately competitive search term which returns 3.5 million reasch results with about 18,000 monthly searches just on Google.com. you need to do some work to get ranked high for this term. i would suggest you to diversify your link building strategy. not sure what you are doing right now, but dont do too much of anything. utilize as many link building methods as you can. a very good idea would be setup some social media and web 2.0 pages with unique content linking to your site and then market those pages as well which will give you high quality related backlinks. one thing to keep in mind, always take slow and steady approach. most people go crazy with link building and end up nowhere
well i I would suggest you to use click track which will show you which visitor is coming from which ip, location and what he is doing on your site. click track is the best tool i ever found on internet which not only show such stats but can guide you where to get backlinks.
Use those keywords in "anchor text" and optimize the destination page, I hope this will help you to rank better for specific keywords.
