Well a few weeks ago i was on burstnet looking for a server and i wanted to see the total cost of how much my server was going to be with addons so i clicked continue not reading the TOS below it and you would never guess what happened they set up the server and said i must pay my bill in 5 days or a collection agency will be coming to my house so i nicely emailed them telling them that i did not order a server and did not pay could you please take it down and they took it down but still said i had to pay then i tried to get my password for billing and i did the whole reset password thing and it gave me my user but no password so i emailed them and told them i was young and didnt know about the TOS and i was sorry and could they please just erase all my stuff and pretend it never happened but no they said i must pay it so then i sent them 4 emails asking for my password and guess what they did not respond to one and now that there billing system is down they said they cant give me it but before it was down they would not give me it they would either mark it as spam or say they gave me it when i ordered which no password was present on the form for the billing at all so now they will ruin my credit and im not even 16 yet and they are very rude so please dont make the same mistake of using there services they SCAM AND ARE GARBAGE
ok lets get a few things straight 1.) you don't have credit 2.) why are you ordering a server at >16 and yes, burstNET is pretty unreliable
well my friend said because i have debit right now that once i get credit it will ruin it and i use to own many websites that were very active and wanted a dedi and i made a ton off my hosting site so i was going to get it and burstnet is the worst datacenter i have tried to use
Guys, ease up. Who cares if he buys a server at 16- all the power too him. That's great, I think. Keep your head up kid, and keep doing what you're doing. I don't even know if what they're doing is legal- so I can't tell you what to do. It sucks, but just deal with it and move on. Mediatemple is pretty good if you ask me- great support. Iwhic is alright- no phone # or live support, and places like wired tree are a bit pricey but well worth it. Thanks Mike
Yes,that why you must always read the TOS before doing anything. And i do suggest you use softlayer. Their support is fast and accurate to your question
ya i learned that but i have talked to a few people and they said they will not be able to do anything because im under 18 and i can not legally accept a legally binding contract can someone verify this
dont iwhich resell fromm burst lol? so what he bought a dedi at 16 a few years a go when i was a similar age i ran a hosting company had 2 servers with them of my own and 15 clients who had resold servers. back to the point you cant use the ordering system for a quote thats what the sales email adress is for or use a calculator and add the prices up from there page, ignorance is no use you will have got confirmation emails from them and i know for a fact they wouldnt be marked as spam. there not a scam company but they are pretty crap and there networks pretty poo
um well they did mark it as scam and every other hosting company ive ever been to didnt make you add up with a calculator also i got the email but it didnt give a password only a username and it is a scam everyone i talked to considers this a scam
