I was just wondering, how exactly does google's caching system work? If I wanted to cache and store a few individual pages online how would I go about doing this?

I don't want google to cache the pages, I want to cache a small number of other webpages and host them on my server.

hmm, that's called scraping, you can probably build a site scraper and scrape off the whole site

I don't want to scrape content. I want to cache it in it's original form, just as google does. Hope that clears that up.

hmm, well that's the only solution i can think of, otherwise you'll have to create a bot that works the same way as google does
