Zimbabwe and Mugabe - Do You Even Care??

I am curious to know what people who are not from Zimbabwe see as a likely solution to the upheaval in Zimbabwe.

The impression I get is no-one really seems to care or they are really scared of Mugabe.

 

There's not much the West can do.

At its heart this is an African problem to be sorted out by African people.

There's been enough meddling by European countries in Africa over the centuries

 

I do agree with you that it is something that should be sorted out by Africans. Only problem with that at the moment is that those who have been asked to step in (namely Southern African Development Community (SADC)) who just go with what Mugabe has to say.

As far as Zimbabweans go, the majority who are suffering are to busy trying to feed themselves than work on deposing Mugabe.

What to do then?

 

And thats one of the reasons why African people cannot manage their own countries. Europeans colonised them, got some $$$ and then left and now Europe gets flooded with people from Africa - the price for having a colony.

 

Sorry, but I don't care much...

 

I feel sorry for them. If I was a Zimbabwean, I would have tried to leave the country with my family... There is no hope...

The only way Zimbabwe can move forward is when Mugabe is out of the picture.

 

It's up to the Africans. They need to learn to run the continent, but its a long way away.

President Mugabe has been in office as the President of Zimbabwe for over 3decades now and yet he is not ready to let go his office..He is a grown up person and I expect him to be able to distinguish between right and wrong.. He loves power so much to the extent that He doesn't care what anybody says. He refused Kofi Annan. He refused Nelson Mandela. He even refused the Organization of African unity (the A.U).. Mugabe loves power more than his people. Anybody who tries to stop him ends up in hell.. I am sorry to say this but Mugabe is a cruel tyrant!!

 

There's no oil there so nobody cares, if there was then maybe 4,200 US forces will die over there for their global masters.

The Zim situation could be so easily resolved. All we have to do is remove Mugabe and put in Morgan Tsvangirai of the MDC (who by rights should be running the country now anyway). Drop a bomb on his house, send the SAS to fill him with bullets, pay him off, whatever. Just get him out.

If i had enough money i would love to stage a coup in zim. It would be a piece of piss. Hire some knucklehead mercenaries from one of the american "knuckleheads for hire" firms, lease some hardware from the Russians and just wipe out the entire PF party. Then it would just be a case of giving Tsangirai a call to give him the good news that he now runs Zim.
