I have a domain that I'm leaning toward selling, and could use your advice.

    Age: 5 1/2 years old
    Backlinks: 30,000
    Homepage Rank: PR4
    (a few inner PR 3)

2 message boards (one is dead, but gets consistent search engine hits and Adsense revenue)
We morphed from phpBB to SMF, all content went to SMF, while that one is still active. Old forums still retain old posts.
    Members: 2,400
    Posts: 55,000

Income from Adsense in 2007: Approx. $1,000
Near $600 to date in 2008

Visitors: 600+ Uniques per day on old forums (desirable SE traffic)/ 175 Uniques per day on new forums

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

declining revenue and traffic, so i would say mid $xxx without knowing the domain. the domain could be worth more as a standalone if it is good.

If it's making $600+ a year, I would value it 3-4 times that if the domain is good also.

I personally think its worth more than that. The general rule, so i've heard is 1.5 times the total yearly income for the domain.

If the site is declining the yearly sum + little bonus sounds fair. I found it harder to resurrect a site that is dying rather than to create a new one. People are just so random.

If it can deliver constancy or even a growth, it'll be worth much more of course.
