Google has added a new ad format to their adsense program - video. More info: https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=40042&topic=8832 What does everyone think?
its cpc for contextually targeted meaning that you get paid after they click on the video and then they click link below the video or the video itself. But wouldn't people just watch the video and thats it? so much information can be put into a video ad. What prevents advertisers from putting the url in their ad, and then having viewers just type it into their browser? does google screen ads before they go live? Site targeted is CPM however. I think all video ads should be CPM. Or get paid after the user clicks the play button, not just after they click the url or the video to go to the advertiser's website. just a few thoughts.
