did you know , 3 years ago when i started the first professional proxy newsletter ,there was no other proxy groups, newsletters etc ? but after that ,when i joined DP everybody decided to start a proxy ,newsletters ,etc why acting just like me?! start something else , like feedsburner , etc
beware proxy webmasters..i have been scammed for 300$ and lose good earning site (i lose domain) i already receive message from pp that they reversed these 300$. godaddy give me retreat...and live me alone.. so i'm f***d..i smell that this f***n scammer is just watch for some good proxy then sent money..then report payment as unauthorized ..leegt is one his usernames.so friends beware

Newsletters have been around for a good ten years so I highly doubt you were the first to think of it - even in the proxy niche. It's a good idea, I just hate when people are so arrogant to proclaim other people have "copied" them. Feedsburner? Yes, theres already people blogging web proxies daily.
Is their a way to check if the proxy topsites you submitted your proxies too is actually listed it? Like search all the links on your proxy homepage and see if they link back?
It would be tough as they all use different link formats for redirects. So unless they gave you a straight up link back I would say no easy way other then searching the source for your url
I'm sorry what you wrote sound like 2 entirely differnet things, are you saying if the proxy topsite checks your homepage for a link? Or you find your link in the topsite? If your looking for your link, in proxypromo & proxylistscript have a page called "newest proxies". you could also go to View source > CTRL+F and search for yours. For Aardvark topsite well that is old news. i would not submit to any of those there junk. Listing always the oldest proxies at the top and the new ones get lost to nowhere land.
His question is one that has me wondering about these auto submitters you have this huge list of sites your suppose to add prior to submitting. Now how many of those ignore your request, decline or the submission doesn't go through. Then they get the backlink you get nothing. Seems the best method is to find 10-15 good lists and manually submit to them and forget the rest. This way you know all your submissions went through and check back in a couple days to see if your link was accepted.

The thing you have to remember about cpalead is that it is VERY VERY ANNOYING. So if you want users to complete the survey instead of leaving your site, you better have the best proxy in the world.
