How Page Rank Tools Calculate PR?

    There are plenty of online tools that provides Google Page Rank for given site(s). How do they calculate it? Some even refer to different data centers and future Page Ranks.

    As I know Google doesn't provide it via its APIs. Are there any other legal ways to calculate it?

    Please provide any tip you know.

    you can check PR in all data centres, but use highest one for calculating.

    hmm other than Google API's i am not sure of other methods. If there are i think they wont work properly.

    if you check on web diagnostic, it smoothly works. Using several google soap api keys to avoid temporarily banned by google.

    may i know when you try it and which menu?
    supported with more than 1 google soap api keys, i'm sure you'll not get that message for the main function.

    PageRank is a link analysis algorithm that assigns a numerical weighting to each element of a hyperlinked set of documents, such as the World Wide Web, with the purpose of "measuring" its relative importance within the set. The algorithm may be applied to any collection of entities with reciprocal quotations and references. The numerical weight that it assigns to any given element E is also called the PageRank of E and denoted by PR(E).
