I read about google functionality in a thread of this forum that google ranks websites according to the countries where they are hosted. Like a site hosted in UK ranks better there, and ranks lower in other countries. Is it possible to make website rank better in all the countries, not on first but at least on first page. Please guide me...
get more link from that country where you want to target your keyword to that country. means you have to target keyword in google.co.in so you this keyword particular you have to link to indian website.
I am not sure about hosting, but ccTLD plays a great role in regional ranking. Say, if you have a .co.uk domain, its likely to rank in Google UK, and if if you have a .us domain, it will rank well in Google US. If you don't wanna target any particular region, use a TLD like .com or .net and remove any geo targeting in Google Webmaster Tools.
You have to get links from your-target-country sites. Pay attention that they need to be hosted in, for example, Germany... It's not neccessary, but desirable.
Abhik, i am quite confused. should i buy different domain for different countries? thats not so practical; thing but yes, u r right. A regional domain name works always better.

If you want traffic from regionally, go for region wise optimization suppose you need result google.co.in submit your site Indian local directories and classifieds, that will make a plus point.
Well answers are right near to the point but still i hv'nt get any process proving answer for getting better ranks simultaneously in all countries....
