Looking For Opinions On My New Site. Thanks :)

Hello ,
I am putting together sort of a company site for myself. It started out on another domain, (my name ) but I didn't really care for that.

This is a redesign, on a new domain, just curious to your first impressions and suggestions.

I took a wordpress template and am in the process of stripping the "blog" stuff from it. It will act as a static website.

Some of the sidebar links are not set up yet (Facebook, MySpace, Linked IN), and there is no content except some filler on the first page, but your opinions and any suggestions thus far are appreciated.

I like the simplicity and crispness of the design. I did notice that the "about us" page and the "our sites" page go o the same place.

 

The site looks good it's nice and clean and easy to navigate.

 

Yeah, still working out the navigation, and content. Simple is my goal, so thanks for that.

Very clean, I like it. Try to make the slide show backgrounds white, I think it'll look better.

 

A little more work on it. Actually changed the whole header. Any better ? Or worse ?

Wow! That feels great ! I really hacked my way around it with just some basic shapes and fonts. Feels good to get something decent up for a change.

I guess I'll keep going in this direction and fill in the content over the week end and get a promotional video up.

Still Open to critiques and suggestions for improvement....they do help.

 

My first impression was that the site had a nice feel to it. It should be a very good looking site when finished,

Your site is simple and attractive which make it best in every regard !

There are lots of links on footer which doesn't look good - as a visitor if I find lots of outgoing links on some page I just don't give any importance to that site , by outgoing I mean outgoing links to other site . Try to reduce this factor .

Beside that your logo is fine , thing which sometime surprise me is that why people don't use favicon for their sites ? - infect they can simply show the same logo as the page favicon - I'll suggest you to use your existing logo as your site favicon by just cropping out "4" .

Sounds good, I was planning on a favicon. The links are mine (my sites), I guess I could put them elsewhere, I plan on listing them anyway on the about page.
