Who said ? May be he is fool. Link exchange is one method to get high PR not the Only method to get high PR where as PR can be achieved only by backlinks also if they are from good source else the combination of internal linking and external links are mandatory.
No, getting quality one way links is the way. If you can provide useful information to visitors, other sites will link to you automatically. This is from my own experience.
Hello, Any links will count towards your PR, more or less, even paid links. However, link exchanges is the least valued form of links that you can get to your website. I'm not saying that it's not going to get you some PR, but I am saying that you won't get the PR that you would get with 50 true links even with 5000 reciprocal links or more.
no. link exchange is one of the way to get high PR. and not this way only we can get high PR. if we can do high PR directory submission, maintain blog, high pr article, in short we must link to another to get high PR so there are many way to get high PR.
no boss not at all,.. there are many factors for getting page rank for website. link exchange is the one of the method for getting pagerank.
Of course not. It's just one of those ways to increase PR. I would suggest you to focus more on getting one way links from relevant sites and have high PR for you to increase you site's page rank.
Link exchanges will not pass on the weight you desire, you should be looking for one way, high quality and high PR links related to your niche.
Link exchange is only one way, their are a number of things you can do to get a high PR, article marketing is one of them.
We do have many ways to do it , but i think link exchange is not good option to do this as "discuss4u" said if you give quality content on site, then I think you will get links automatically
Link exchanges are a great way to improve your PR, and is submitting your website to a Search engine friendly link directory; But also, good and fresh content always helps to keep a good rating and to allow others to link to your website. Keep working, and keep the site on the same domain, unless you want to lose your Page Rank.
Absolutely NOT! Plus, link exchange won't help your page rank much anyway. You need one way links and you can get these for free by commenting on forums like these or blogs. You can also get page rank by writing articles online and submitting them to article directories for free. Also, you can ping your site if you have a blog or social bookmark it. Good luck
I agree with airee, our company is doing everything you said and with in a month we jumped to PR4 from 2. We just have to keep it up.
I think that I have only exchanged links with other sites a handful of times. I dread it. Most of the emails that I have sent were ignored, or probably considered spam. I take link building into my own hands, and look for places where I can add social bookmarks, set up pages linking back to mine, I write articles, and submit to all kinds of directories. There are sooo many ways to build backlinks, Carmen
Of course it's not the only way to get a high PageRank. Every backlinks helps a little bit to improve your PR. Blogs, Forums, Directories, Classifieds, Article Directories, etc. ... there are hundreds of ways to build links and thus improve PR. http://www.seobook.com/archives/001792.shtml
to get quality back links you could hold some contest, post on dofollow forums and blog, hire some webmaster to review your site and create a template which you will give for free.
