Most of the traffic comes from search engines (google) but to get to the top for your keywords you need lots of content.Then you can say that search engines marketing works.

Where did you get that idea? From another noob, right? And he got it from another noob, and that noob got it from another.... Next thing you know, it seems everyone is saying it. So, it must be true, right? Nope. And remember, WHO, is saying it is the best? Yup. ... Noobs who don't know any better, who heard it from another noob who doesn't know any better. Sorry, but that is the reality of it. The best is advertising. Second is word of mouth. How do you think the big sites got to be so big? Don't ya think that there are sites out there that get tens of thousands of daily hits, and they don't even mess with SEO, they aren't even found in a search? And many of the sites that are on page one will get, maybe, a few hundred hits a day, if that. On top of that, is is worthless traffic for the most part because they jump from site to site out of sheer boredom at work, they are tire kickers, window shoppers, they are looking for free stuff.... I don't know what else to tell ya.
