My Adsense Account Disabled!

Ok, without tearing your brain out through your nose I am going to look at this situation as a learning opportunity for those whose sites are slow to start.

Rule #1 - Never, ever, ever click on your own AdSense ads. Your ads can include Google Search boxes (and the sponsored results that are displayed after a search), referral buttons, links ads, or image ads.

Rule #2 - Don't think that you are smarter than Google - You are not. Many people try all kinds of methods to cheat Google's advertisers by clearing cookies, changing IPs, logging in with different ISPs, and the like. No matter how many things you do, you will eventually get caught. (BTW, use the Google toolbar with page rank enabled? CAUGHT)

Rule #3 - Don't think you are getting away with cheating if you have clicked on your own ads. Google only checks for click fraud when they post payments or when they are about to send a check. So if you spend 10 months clicking on your own ads before you get to the $100 payout point, Google will catch you then - not as you click on the ads.

Rule #4 - Don't put your Google AdSense ads on any non-approved website. Placing your publisher ID on any site featuring porn, guns, crakz, warez, or download sites that feature stolen copyrighted material will get you banned forever in a heartbeat.

Rule #5 - Don't Screw Up - When Google bans you they ban you for life. There is an appeal process, but if you cheated forget about it. They never grant appeals to those who have cheated by clicking on their own ads. NEVER.

The only way to get back into the AdSense program is to form a company and incorporate or an LLC. This gives you a new legal name and tax ID number. Then you can sign up again as the new legal entity.

Rule #6 - Be Patient - Good things come to those who are willing to develop their content and attract visitors. People advertise on your websites because it has good content. Focus on building traffic and visitors first, and worry about money second. You can't make money without traffic.

Ok, I'm off the soapbox now. Just thought I would offer my thoughts.

 

Just out of curiousity, isn't this the same sort of email one might expect to see if they had their adsense account closed for other reasons, such as someone else click-bombing or such? Or would that be a different sort of email?

Haha, your the kinda a guy who lives on nagging the weak people that has alraedy been nagged. You are playing your mindgames because you have an work-related disease that your sick costumers gave you. Kicking the the dead lamb isn't productive in my eyes, we should rather help this man out aslong as he's honest.

 

I`m curious when will they read that email Anyway 10k with referral programs.. quite incredible, is here anybody who made money with firefox/ picasa? I made 0.30$ (3firefox install, 1=10cent and not 1$ how it is said ...)

You missed the number 1 reason people get banned from AS: They don't read the TOS.

What everone seems to forget is that is doesn't matter what happens on your site or who the fraud is coming from. Even if YOU aren't the one doing it, you are responsible for ALL activity on your site.
