Paypal Problem - Money Not Being Deposited !

    Hi,
I am from India - I have an account in SBI (State Bank of India)
Till the last week I was removing the money to my account and there was no problem. The money was getting deposited every time. Last week I removed the money it came back to my account. They said that the bank returned the money.

I tried it again and they money came back to my account with the same reason. They charge me $5 (Rs. 250) every time they return the money.
I have not changed the account number or the bank details and i don't know why this is happening !

When I contact my bank those dumb heads don't know anything about it. They dont know what paypal is or what a payment gateway is, so there is no point asking them anything !

    Can anyone here help ?

are you sure you have given correct IFSC code with paypal. Also did your paypal name match exactly with the bank have in their records. If either the case, the bank will decline the payment.

I didn't even know that PayPal supported Indian banks/accounts. But if they do and your money is 'bouncing' I would call your bank and get 100% verified account info and then double check with PayPal customer service.

Try to contact them through phone call and let them know of this issue for quick solution of your problem.

Alos if you have any other bank account such as HDFC,ICICI then go with it as of now.

I have tried to contact them and they don't have any information and those nuts don't know anything about payment gateways and paypal. They told me to contact paypal.

I think i must go with ICICI or HDFC !

I was still going the very old way of getting the checks but in this diwali one of my check came really late and I was fedup of it. So I have also started taking the Bank transfers.

Yet whenever I withdraw money from paypal I myself go to bank and ask the girl there that check it out if my money is there or not.

It might sound like old age idea but in bigger transactions one should take extra care of all this things.

If you are from India then yes special care is needed :D and I can understand your worry about bank people not knowing anything about what paypal is and even if they have an IFSC code or not. :D

Don't worry when there is some error in the transaction, the money will be returned back to PayPal in the next 12 days from the date of request.
