Hey, I would like to receive information if anyone here is willing to take upon a project to clone the SitePoint marketplace from zero. This would be a completely custom script written for my company, don't even bother trying to sell us some crappy free or low budget script. We like very much the clean and simple solution of SP, "web2.0-ish" look, but we'll have a few upgrades of our own of course. If you don't have the skills to do it, we'll notice it in 2 minutes as we have 4 full time programmers working on other projects. They will question you regarding this project. We need only the marketplace part of SP, with feedback and private messaging system. Ability to add new site in a wizard way (like on SP right now), searchable results, auction type bidding system, upgrades (listing in bold, etc.) Site access verification, a few API checks regarding domain age, stats, etc. just the basics. Also, PayPal IPN integration is a must! You get the idea. You can write here, you can drop a PM, I don't really care BUT you have to let us know a little about yourself, your skills and experience. Also the most important: write a few lines about how do you imagine carrying out this project. Programming language (pros and cons), environment, security, I'm interested in EVERYTHING, don't hold back. Also, we have our own design (almost) ready for this project, we're _ONLY_ looking for correct the programmer(s). Budget is flexible (not $100 ), but we'll only reward if we see everything coming together in a way we like it. Good luck.
