It is a too distant dream....

If that ever happens....all outsourcing would have stopped..Instead the reverse would have happen and India would become the dumping ground for many products....

Why are Indians obsessed with having so many of the top 10 richest people? That isnt something to be proud of, when you see how poor some Indians are.

And, FYI: aint gonna happen. India will NEVER rule the world, nor will 1INR = 1USD. Stop dreaming!

You should be the one to learn history. Show me the stats to prove that India was the richest country in the world. No doubt we were rich, but we were never the richest country in the world and even if we were, the identity of India was completely different. Stop bragging about history that never existed and stick your false superiority up yours.

So, what if India was really the richest country in the world? Were you a part of it? or did you contribute anything to the cause? I find it funny that so many of my fellow Indians feel the need to brag on a message board about India's great history and how many Indians made the top 10 Forbe's lists when thousands of Indians are dying everyday in poverty. Do you achieve anything from it? Does it fill you with confidence that you're born in a once great country full of poverty these days?

Dont just follow the b***s*** so-called history written by the westerners.

India was the superpower once, for sure. Thatz why even Columnus wanted to visit India.

Thatz why British, French and others invaded us.

Thatz why moguls came to India.

I can proove my wordings with many points.

And Peterson, does YOUR conuntry has its own HISTORY?! India has its own very very old history than any other countries. We don't want some eye-closed cats come and teach us history.

    Napoleon,
. Yes, ofcourse, my great grand parents were there and so I'm proud to be an Indian.

If you know nothing, please keep quite.

Well, considering my country is part of the UK, where the British Empire started - yes, it does have a history.

BTW - you are talking loads of bullshit.

Britain invaded you, because they wanted an empire. No other reason.

So, we've not to trust history from people who've studied it, but from some guy on a forum who cant spell .

YOU WONT BE A SUPERPOWER - EVER!

My name is Peter Anderson, not Peterson.

I had a look at some Indian history sites, and NONE of them mention India being powerful - ever.

And, after reading some of the things about India, I doubt they will be.

Why would I need to write ANYTHING in any Indian languages? Last time I checked, the superpowers mostly speak English, not Indian.

    STOP DREAMING!

That is not entirely true. Some Indian kings were powerful. Lalitaditya, for example controlled a huge chunk of Asia, but not powerful or rich enough as the other guy is claiming, not to mention that India, was controlled by hundreds of kings most of its history after probably Harsha and rarely existed as a single identity.

Come on guys.. It is going beyond the limits....

Not more than 10% of Indians can really afford a personal computer.

More than 70% of ppl in the US and UK can afford, but need tech support from Indians to know how to switch on the power of their computer..
